# Team Members & Permissions

> Invite your team and manage who can do what

VoucherGrid lets you invite team members with different roles so everyone has the right level of access.

<Info>Team members are available on **Premium** (up to 5) and **Professional** (unlimited) plans.</Info>

## Inviting a team member

1. Go to **Settings → Team**
2. Click **Invite**
3. Enter their email address and choose a role
4. On Professional plans, choose location access (all locations or specific ones)
5. Click **Send Invite**

The invitee receives an email with a link to accept. Their access is live immediately after they accept.

<Tip>Pending invites count toward your seat limit. Cancel unused invites to free up seats.</Tip>

## Roles

| Role       | What they can do                                                                                                    |
| ---------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Viewer** | Read-only access to reports and dashboard                                                                           |
| **Staff**  | Create and redeem vouchers, view balances and history                                                               |
| **Admin**  | Everything Staff can do, plus: void vouchers, manage settings, manage integrations, invite/remove Staff and Viewers |
| **Owner**  | Full access including billing, account deletion, data export, and ownership transfer                                |

### Who can invite whom

* **Owners** can assign any role, including Owner
* **Admins** can only invite Staff or Viewer

## Managing team members

From the **Settings → Team** page, you can:

* **Change a role** – use the role dropdown next to any member
* **Remove a member** – click the remove icon (their access is revoked immediately)
* **Resend an invite** – click the envelope icon on any pending invite
* **Transfer ownership** – Owners can transfer the Owner role to another member

<Warning>You cannot remove the last Owner. Transfer ownership first.</Warning>

## Location-based access

<Info>Location scoping requires the **Professional** plan with [multi-location](/multi-location) set up.</Info>

When inviting or editing a team member, you can restrict their access to specific locations:

* **All locations** – access to every current and future location
* **Specific locations** – select one or more locations from a checklist

Location-scoped members can only see vouchers, products, and reports from their assigned locations.

## Plan limits
