# Design Centre

> Create and customise voucher products with the Design Centre

The Design Centre is where you create, design, and manage your voucher products. It combines product setup, visual design, and storefront management in one place.

<Info>The Design Centre is available on **Premium** and **Professional** plans.</Info>

## Overview

The Design Centre has three tabs:

* **Templates** – your voucher products (active and archived)
* **Library** – backgrounds created and curated in-house by category (spa, fitness, medical, etc.)
* **AI** – generate custom artwork using AI credits

## Creating a voucher product

1. Click **New Voucher** in the Design Centre
2. Fill in the product details (see below)
3. Choose or upload a hero image
4. Click **Save as Draft** to save, or **Go Live** to publish immediately

A live preview renders in real time on the right panel as you edit, using the same layout as the final digital voucher.

## Product fields

### Identity

| Field        | Description                                |
| ------------ | ------------------------------------------ |
| Voucher Name | Internal label (up to 100 characters)      |
| Display Name | Name shown on the digital voucher          |
| Description  | Short blurb shown to customers at checkout |

### Pricing

Choose one pricing type per product:

| Type               | Description                                                                                    |
| ------------------ | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Open Value**     | Customer chooses any amount. Optionally show preset quick-pick amounts (e.g. $50, $100, \$150) |
| **Face Value**     | A single set amount (e.g. \$150)                                                               |
| **Price Range**    | Customer picks within a min–max range (e.g. $50–$200)                                          |
| **Non-face Value** | A named treatment at a set price. GST applies at purchase, not redemption                      |

Amount limits: $0.01–$10,000.

### Design

* **Hero Image** – the background image on the voucher. Choose from the Library, upload your own (up to 10 MB), or generate with AI
* **Design Variants** – up to 3 alternative designs per product. Buyers choose their favourite at checkout
* **Brand Colour** – hex colour used as an accent on the voucher
* **Header Style** – show your business logo or trading name as the header

### Expiry

* **No Expiry** – voucher never expires
* **Expires After** – set a duration in months or years

<Warning>Under Australian Consumer Law, most gift vouchers must have at least a 3-year expiry. If you set a shorter expiry, you must select an exemption reason (e.g. event-specific, genuine discount, promotional giveaway).</Warning>

### Personal message

Toggle whether buyers can include a personal message with the voucher. Set a character limit (up to 2,000 characters, default 200).

### Terms and conditions

Use your account-wide default terms, or write custom terms for this specific product.

### Groups

Optionally assign products to a group to organise them in the dashboard. Groups can be created, renamed, and deleted from the Design Centre.

## Managing products

| Action             | Description                                                                                                   |
| ------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Go Live**        | Publishes the product to your online store. If 3 products are already live, you'll be prompted to replace one |
| **Duplicate**      | Creates a copy in draft state                                                                                 |
| **Archive**        | Removes the product from the storefront but preserves existing vouchers                                       |
| **Set as Default** | Makes this the product shown for direct purchase links (one default per account)                              |

## The image library

The Library tab includes:

* **Collection** – VoucherGrid backgrounds created and curated in-house, filterable by category and tags
* **Yours** – images you've uploaded or generated with AI

Click any image to apply it to the product you're editing.

## AI-generated designs

The AI tab lets you generate original artwork using credits. Premium plans include a monthly credit allotment. Each generation costs 1 credit.
